The laboratory is actually divided on two research groups. The main staff (the leading sci. res., N.Simonyan – Ph.D., senior sci.res., N.Mkrtchyan – jun.sci.res., A.Ovakimyan – the engineer, G.Unanjan – the mechanic) carried out the research works in the field of radiation biology, preparative and applied biochemistry, the general and applied microbiology, radiation ecology. The separate group investigates the mechanical properties of macromolecules and biopolimers (S.Gevorgyan – jun.sci.res., S.Kherolyants – the engineer).
